Camel Rides and Jeep Safaris
We offer two options for sunset tours : Camel Rides and Jeep Safaris. The Merzouga sunset camel trek and Jeep safari start at least an hour before sunset. It takes about half an hour to reach the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi by camel.
Once there, we’ll leave the camels and walk approximately 80 meters to the highest dune of Erg Chebbi Merzouga. For a panoramic view, you can climb to the top. After enjoying the sunset, we’ll return to the village, either by camel or Jeep. A desert trip in Morocco wouldn’t be complete without experiencing a camel trek or Jeep ride in the dunes. For those captivated by the caravans that once crossed African deserts transporting goods like salt between legendary cities, this is a chance to feel like a nomad, even if just for a little while.

Cancellation policy
- If cancellations are made 15 days before the travel date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- For cancellations made 7 to 15 days before the travel date, 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- If cancellations are made within 0 to 7 days before the travel date, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Confirmation Policy
- We require a deposit of 20% of the total amount to secure your spot.
- Serving as confirmation of your booking with Desert Tours Company.
- A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of a successful booking.
- If the preferred slots are unavailable, we will arrange an alternate schedule based on your preferences and send a new confirmation email.
Refund Policy
- The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
- All applicable refunds will be done by the same method that we receive deposit.
