Day 1 : Casablanca - Fes
Your private tour kicks off with your driver collecting you from your hotel in Casablanca. From there, we’ll visit the main cultural attractions before heading to Fes, where we’ll spend the night in a riad or hotel.
Day 2 : Fes - Guided City Tour
We’ll kick off the day exploring Morocco’s oldest city, wandering through its winding alleys and narrow streets. Our journey starts at the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish quarter, home to Morocco’s first Mellah, established in the 16th century. We’ll make sure to visit all the significant cultural and historical sites, including the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region.
Next, we’ll explore the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we’ll visit various cooperatives and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes, before wrapping up the day at your Riad.
Day 3 : Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel in Fes, we’ll head to Merzouga through the Mid-Atlas region, passing by Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland” of Morocco. We’ll continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can stop to feed the Berber apes. Next, we’ll proceed to Midelt for lunch and follow the Ziz River to the stunning Ziz Gorge. The journey takes us through the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani, where we’ll pause to explore the local souk. The day ends with our arrival in Merzouga, where we’ll stay overnight at a local hotel.
Day 4 : Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we’ll head into the desert and swap our 4×4 for a day of adventure. We’ll explore the stunning Erg Chebbi Dunes, circling the vast desert landscape and experiencing the fascinating Moroccan nomadic (Berber) way of life. Next, we’ll visit the “black village” of Khamlia to enjoy a performance by the famous Gnawan musicians, followed by a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the historic capital of Rissani. In the afternoon, we’ll ride camels and watch the sunset over the dunes before returning to our camp. There, we’ll savor a traditional tagine dinner, sip refreshing local mint tea, and enjoy traditional Berber music under the starry, moonlit sky of the magical Sahara Desert.
Day 5 : Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge
We'll start early to catch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert, then ride camels back to the village. From there, we'll head to Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorge, Morocco's highest and narrowest gorge. We might take a hike in the valley and have lunch in the gorge before continuing to the Dades Gorge. There, we'll admire sand castles and unique geological formations called "monkey toes." We'll spend the night in the Dades Gorge at a local hotel or riad.
Day 6 : Dades Gorge - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate, traveling along the route of a thousand Kasbahs (fortresses). We’ll take a break at Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of The Valley of Roses, for a quick stretch and lunch at a local eatery. Then, our private tour will continue with a stop at the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakesh, where we’ll stay overnight at a charming riad or hotel.
Day 7 : Marrakech Guided Tour
