2 Days Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga Desert : A 2-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech is perfect for those arriving in Fes and wanting to explore the Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi) before heading to Marrakech in a short time. You’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley oasis before reaching Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels through the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness an unforgettable sunset and spend the night at a desert camp. The next day, after breakfast at the camp, the journey continues through Todra and Dades Valleys, a photo stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, ending with your arrival in Marrakech.

Day 1 : Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Middle atlas - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
On the first day of your 2-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour, you’ll be picked up from your hotel or Riad in the morning and driven to Merzouga, passing through the Middle Atlas mountains. Along the way, you can admire the aromatic cedar forests and lush green valleys.
The journey includes a stop in Ifrane to see the lion sculpture in a park, followed by a visit to Azrou, where you’ll pause in the cedar forest to spot Barbary apes. Continuing on, you’ll pass through several towns and get a glimpse of nomads living in tents along the route.
The tour proceeds to Midelt, surrounded by green hills and the Middle Atlas mountains. In Midelt, you’ll stop for lunch before heading toward Tizi N’talghomt pass and Ziz Gorge near Errachidia, where you’ll see the Hassan Al’Dakhil dam.
Afterward, the drive continues to Erfoud, with a panoramic view of Aoufous palmeraie along the Ziz River. Passing through the small town of Erfoud, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll begin a camel trek to the Berber Camp. The camel ride takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, with a break atop the dunes to watch the sunset, try sandboarding, enjoy the views, and take photos.
After these unforgettable moments, you’ll continue to the camp, where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea and have time to relax before dinner. After dinner, enjoy traditional Berber drumming music, marvel at the starry sky, and sleep in a nomadic tent.
Day 2 : Erg Chebbi - Ait ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
On the second day of your Fes to Marrakech 2-day Morocco tour, after enjoying a stunning sunrise in the desert outside the campsite, you’ll have breakfast and take a shower at the camp. Then, you’ll either ride camels again or be transferred via 4WD back to the starting point, where you’ll meet your driver and continue the journey toward Marrakech.
Depending on the time available, we’ll make as many stops as possible to explore interesting sites along the way, such as Todra and Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, and the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. You’ll have opportunities to take photos or do a quick visit, especially if traveling in the summer months when the days are longer. Next, we’ll cross the impressive High Atlas Mountains, making a few stops to admire the breathtaking panoramic views and authentic Berber villages. You’ll arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or evening, where you’ll transfer to your hotel or riad, marking the end of your 2-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech.

- If cancellations are made 15 days before the travel date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- For cancellations made 7 to 15 days before the travel date, 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- If cancellations are made within 0 to 7 days before the travel date, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

- A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of a successful booking.
- If the preferred slots are unavailable, we will arrange an alternate schedule based on your preferences and send a new confirmation email.
