Overnight Camp Camel Trekking Desert From Merzouga : The Overnight Camel Trek in Merzouga is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in the Sahara, featuring a camel ride through Merzouga and a magical night in traditional Berber tents deep in the Erg-Chebbi desert. You’ll also get the chance to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the dunes, making it the perfect experience for sleeping under the starry Sahara sky.

Overnight Camp Desert
Our overnight camel trek in Merzouga begins once we meet you in the Merzouga desert. From there, we’ll escort you to the starting point of our camel caravan. The trek lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Sahara desert camp. Along the way, you’ll pause in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset and, if you’re interested, try sandboarding.
You can take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After the sun sets, the camel trek continues to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea. At the camp, you’ll enjoy Berber music, a campfire, a starry sky, dinner, and overnight glamping under a nomadic Sahara tent in the heart of the Merzouga dunes.
The next morning, you’ll wake early to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we’ll return to Merzouga, marking the end of your overnight camel trekking adventure.

Cancellation policy
- If cancellations are made 15 days before the travel date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- For cancellations made 7 to 15 days before the travel date, 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- If cancellations are made within 0 to 7 days before the travel date, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Confirmation Policy
- We require a deposit of 20% of the total amount to secure your spot.
- Serving as confirmation of your booking with Desert Tours Company.
- A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of a successful booking.
- If the preferred slots are unavailable, we will arrange an alternate schedule based on your preferences and send a new confirmation email.
Refund Policy
- The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
- All applicable refunds will be done by the same method that we receive deposit.
